In a gray and dreary neighborhood without Christmas lights and with concrete buildings, lives a lonely Santa Claus. He is not the cheerful and jolly figure we know, but a melancholic and lonely character. His only companions are his reindeer, which are of normal size and share his loneliness. A group of poor children discover Santa Claus and decide to bring light and joy back to their neighborhood and to Santa. Through their efforts with homemade Christmas decorations and carols, Santa Claus rediscovers the magic of Christmas and helps the children create a new Christmas tradition.
